Center for High Performance Computing

CHPC (Center for High Performance Computing)

The Doppler-cluster is the central ressource for high-performance computing at our university. It consists of more than 40 compute nodes, a range of accelerator boards and large storage systems.

Ressources are managed by means of the Sun Grid Engine queuing system, but fixed allocations/reservations can also be provided on request. The cluster is under constant development and all users/departments are encouraged to take part in this.
